About the Championships

The National Surf Lifesaving Championships are an annual event open to all clubs affiliated to Surf Life Saving Great Britain (SLSGB). It is a week long event and for 2023, our club have been honoured with hosting the competition at Branksome Dene Chine, Poole. This year the event will take place during 12-19 August. Note: The Open category championship is being held in Portreath on 9-10 September.

Entertainment Evenings

On Sunday 13 August and Tuesday 15 August, Chris Payn (a talented local singer/song-writer) will be entertaining us for another year with live music to celebrate the end of Masters and Youth competition events.
